Growing Your List: Opt-In Subscribers
Written by PLRMan on May 10, 2009 – 5:35 pm -With more and more people having access to the internet, there is a growing problem with junk mail, also called “spam”. So companies have developed many email filters and protections to keep e-mail accounts free from spam and other junk mail, there are people who sign up for emails that promote their site’s products and services. These subscribers want to know more about the offers and information from sites they visit. They expect to receive information on their interests and the new areas in the niche they’ve picked. The students I coach at my website know this well.
Online businesses are fortunate to have these subscribers; and the main way to get people who are interested in subscribing to your information is to build a sense of trust. When customers trust you they will reward you with their loyalty. Most people who use the internet have gone to great lengths protecting their internet mail accounts from spam mail. Many free email internet providers and internet service providers offer junk mail and spam protection while there are also some online companies will even screen your email for you.
If you are involved in online marketing, you probably have an opt-in list, and you need to have the ezines you send out containing your promotional information newsletters, catalogs, ezines, etc, go through. Your subscriber needs to be able to read the information you send to them. When someone requests information, you’ll need permission from your recipient, but before they usually subscribe, you’ll need their trust. And with the huge lack of privacy on the internet, getting a person to trust you can be a hard job.
My students at my website are taught how to build a large opt in list. If you want to build a good opt-in list people need to trust you, and in order to build up quickly, you need to get your email subscribers to trust you quickly. It goes without saying that the faster you build your opt-in list the faster word about your network marketing business is spread. The more subscribers on your opt-in list the more visitors will come to your site and you’ll create more profits. Here are two helpful tips about how to gain your customers’ trust.
1. Be true to the readers. When you sell your products and services, provide guarantees. The more satisfied your readers, the more often they will return. Usually, people trust people they know, if someone recommends you then you’ll receive more sales. They will go to your site and check it for themselves and you’ll receive more sales.
2. Another helpful hint about how to get a potential customer to quickly trust you is to provide them with an opt-out option. Show your reader that you’re not going to trap them. Make sure that they can unsubscribe anytime they want. Provide your readers with information about how they can leave your list. Guarantee that they can leave if they choose. Many people are afraid that they may be stuck for life and they will have to abandon their email accounts when they receive too much spam.
The most important thing to remember is that when your readers trust you don’t do anything to lost it. For instance, if you do anything with your customer’s email addresses like sell or give them out, you will lose many members of your list as well as sales.
